Common Jay Butterfly Wing Earrings
How cute are these butterfly wing earrings. made with repurposed wings of a Graphium doson, the common jay butterfly. It is a black, tropical swallowtail butterfly with pale blue semi-transparent central wing bands that are formed by large spots. There is a marginal series of smaller spots. The underside of wings is brown with markings similar to upperside but whitish in colour. Set on surgical steel ear wires and accented with glass beads.
Cruelty free, natually expired
Handcrafted by me in my London Ontario Canada studio. Though my pieces are watertight, they are not 100% waterproof so care should be taken to not allow these to get wet.
