Anteos menippe, Great Orange Tip Butterfly, Orange-Tipped Angled-Sulphur Butterfly Earrings
These butterfly earrings are made with real repurposed butterfly wings of the species Anteos menippe, the great orange tip or orange-tipped angled-sulphur. They are made with the hindwings of this butterfly and are a lemony yellow color with a little plush pink swish spot marking. Set on surgical steel ear wires and accented with yellow seaglass beads. The one wing has a slight bend up, so the price has been reduced to reflect this tiny flaw

Handcrafted by me in my London Ontario Canada studio. Though my pieces are watertight, they are not 100% waterproof so care should be taken to not allow these to get wet.
Butterflies & Insects used in my pieces have been sustainably raised and bred on insect farms globally and play an important role in Conservation programs
