These real butterfly wing earrings are made with repurposed wings of a Mint Morpho, Morpho catenarius. The Mint Morpho is unique among blue morpho butterflies because unlike most butterflies in this family which are iridesent blue, the Mint Morpho has translucent wings that are a pale minty greenish blue. It has dark strips of tiny eye spot markings on the underside, which can be seen from the top side and is known also as a “White Morpho”  Set on surgical steel ear wires and accented with frosty white seaglass beads.
